Tank Combat 26x is a free top-down tank game that runs in any modern browser. Choose your chassis, read your mission orders and roll out across a 5-level campaign. Bank shells off walls, knock down buildings to find new weapons, hold ground under fire and finish the job against a giant boss tank.

Features

• 5-level campaign with a different objective each mission:


• Search & Destroy: meet the tank kill quota


• Hold the Line: hold the zone under fire


• Clear the Compound: destroy the marked buildings


• Secure & Hold: hit a kill quota, then hold the zone


• Boss: destroy the giant tank


• Bounce shots: most shells ricochet off walls, so you can bank shots around corners. Some weapons bounce more than others.


• Destructible buildings: smash buildings and armories to unlock the machine gun, rocket, shotgun and tank-pong for the rest of the run


• Three chassis: Scout (fast, fragile; Boost and Smoke), Balanced (all-rounder; Repair and Cover barrier), Heavy (slow armor; Shield and EMP stun)


• Upgrades between levels


• Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty


• Local co-op for two players on one keyboard, with shared weapon unlocks


• Plays with keyboard and mouse, or touch (on phones: one drive stick with auto-aim, plus FIRE, HEAL and pause buttons)

Controls

Player 1 - A / D: rotate - W / S: drive - Mouse: aim - Left click: fire - 1 to 5: switch weapons - Shift / E: abilities

Player 2 (co-op) - Arrow keys: drive (auto-aim) - Enter: fire - 6 to 0: switch weapons - Right Shift / period: abilities

General - Esc: pause

Local co-op needs a shared keyboard, so it isn't available on phones.
